I think that's right, but you shouldn't have to spend 800 bucks on a ultra capacitor to do what batteries have been doing for 100 years. I think the dual purpose are junk. Can't even buy a good bag of charcoal anymore either. Lol

Ain’t that the truth. Most all of my sons toys I buy him end up breaking. I know he’s not too hard on them because all my toys from 30 yrs ago he plays with over and over with no problem at all. #### shame.alds, bzinger, Farmerbob1 and 3 others Thank this.

I hook my battery charger. First I disconnect all the batteries, clean all the battery post and the compartment. Clean the cables also. Then I throw a low charge for about a couple of hours each.bigguns, bzinger and Rideandrepair Thank this.

You might not like Dual Purpose batteries, but if you put starting batteries in a Opti-Idle truck, you will be buying new ones regularly.bzinger and Rideandrepair Thank this.

My mother had an old 1960 RCA Whirlpool Imperial washer until 2002. It did three loads of laundry per day almost every day for 42 years. The thing had a transmission under it that was about the size of a VW beetle engine.
It finally started leaking in 2001. We found a new tub for it, (really new. In the original box, which was old and discolored from age) but the tub nut had never been removed and was not able to be removed without taking it to a shop to heat/torch it off. We decided to take it to the dump. That was a mistake.
Since 2002 she's had 4 new washers. -

Starting fluid always seated tires in the needed situations. Last time I attempted this on side of road, threw the lit match in tire and a ball of flame rolled around in tire and fizzled out. Several attempts with same result. I almost melted down. A bad can or is this todays starting fluid?Last edited: Jan 12, 2021

It's today's starting fluid. Most of it is junk. If you want some of the good stuff, go by a John Deere dealer and get a can of theirs. It's 80% ether.

I saw a meme somewhere the other day that essentially said appliances like refrigerators and the like used to be designed to last decades and were routinely put in peoples wills. Now people leave them behind when moving houses because it’s not worth the trouble.

I know a guy here in town who has an appliance repair business. He told me the stuff they're making these days is crap compared to a couple of decades (or more) ago. It is good for his repeat business though.
