Yeah but still I mean I do LTL and I can run 1500 miles and make that. I don't see how that's great when you factor in benefits and 401k

working ltl has its advantages too. it all depends on what works for you. here is something to think about with a setup like gpt. for every seven days out you get one day off paid. work seven weeks and take seven days off paid. thats seven weeks of paid time off every year and you havnt even touched your vacation time. thats alot of paid time off no matter how you look at it.

You can just run hard LTL, be off on the weekends, and take time off as you please without touching vacation time. I do it all the time. It's not abnormal to see a $3000 gross check running hard in Texas. 4000 miles is very possible.

    How about an update?

    - How are the miles? Has it slowed down much?

    - Are you still making the 13k/month bonus?

    - Are you doing a lot of Northwest runs? Produce loads?

    - Is Susan still dispatching west coast? She's a wizard. I did my best not to get on her crap list. LOL

Actually they layer on bonuses on top of that salary, and a mileage incentive (over 11,000 miles gets an extra chunk of money each month)on top of that. I switched to salary last year and it’s been great for me ever since.

They like you to stay out 3 weeks, I believe. You get 1 day off per 7 out. They pay W2.

Getting prepared to go back with GP. Recruiter says they may not have trucks by the time I'm ready in Feb. Last time I was there in May of 19, there were about a dozen empty trucks. Maybe they have more applying because they offer salary. I don't know. What I do know is that I need to get to making money soon.

I'll give you an update when I hear something.

    This is their pay scale...
    - $1250/week, every week (including time off).
    - $1300/week after 90 days.
    - 11,000 miles/month = $300 bonus
    - 12,000 miles/month = $500 bonus
    - 13,000 miles/month = $800 bonus
    - Over 14,000 miles/month = extra $500 ($800.00 + $500.00 = $1300.00)

    - If you hit miles and MPG you will receive an additional $100.

    - If you hit miles, MPG and Idle you will receive an additional $100.

W2, though you maybe responsible for your state taxes depending on where you live. Minimum 3-4 weeks out, 1 day off for each week you are out. Run all 48 states, no Canada or HM.
