Thank goodness!! Finally a post. First in over 3 weeks. I live in fear that you have achieved the ultimate success and have retired from the craziness.

I’ll insert here - for those that don’t know.
@staceydude is a great chap from Texas that jumped off the deep end from a job in aviation to buying a truck, my old 53’ trailer, and attaining his CDL with his own authority.
Very similar story to @zmster2033 who bought my T2000, left an office cubicle and went van, own authority. zmster is doing extraordinarily well. Stacey has shown incredible progress - things that would wind me up roll off his back, and as a total rookie.
@zmster2033 has a thread I believe, I urge @staceydude to do the same.
Unfortunately, the trend on here tends towards discredit and disbelief. But believe you me - with the right position and attitude, all things are possible.
Many questions that Stacey had - I’d bounce to zmster, because I’m leased on to a carrier and have no idea.
Networking is very useful.
Anyhow, just wanted to explain how contacts here, led to spawning two operations and the ability for me to purchase a trailer that I can learn more with!
Thanks Stacey!
Keep helping those that are willing to be helped folks!blacklabel, staceydude, dwells40 and 21 others Thank this. -
What? Are you saying that there's possibility for being successful in this business without adhering to the strict TTR formula for O/O?

Don’t even think that.
Thoughts become words,
Words become actions.4mer trucker, larry2903, God prefers Diesels and 5 others Thank this. -
Good choice. You can run taller, up to 15’6” in some areas without too much trouble.
Not many dd’s with over 50’ in the well. if the only way to move the load is a stretch step, they will pay. I’ll hook you up with a good pole car.Itsbrokeagain, God prefers Diesels, JoeyJunk and 4 others Thank this. -
Though it took me over a year to decide, that was my thinking.
Appreciate the pole car contact.
What is LS’s policy on height ?4mer trucker, JoeyJunk and Tug Toy Thank this. -
I enjoy seeing drive and clear thought prevailing in the face of, as you said, disbelief and discredit.
Dig the new trailer, and hope it does well for you.God prefers Diesels, JoeyJunk, Slowpoke KW and 4 others Thank this. -
I don’t really know, need to ask, should let you go to 14’6 ,
It’s not that hard if you follow the permits, the problem is wires, traffic lights and trees .God prefers Diesels, Slowpoke KW, Tug Toy and 1 other person Thank this.
