lol yep I remember those nightmares. One time we needed a empty. I wheeled into a ups terminal , found an empty , hooked up and blazed out never said a word to anybody. Never heard anything about it
Yes I know that’s contributing to the problem but at tge time I. Did. Not. Care.

My company, Schneider, used to send a message, "don't pick up an mty at xyz, we don't have enough for everyone. Go to ABC (50-100) miles away), and get one."
My thought was, "We don't need one for everyone, we need one for ME."
So, I'd get the first mty i could find and roll on.

Drove 1 in a COE White~Freightliner OTR tractor. Half the engine stuck out past the sleeper. As I recall it got about 4 mpg. There were no hills in that truck.

 

I thought maybe I put them somewhere. I found my new IFTA stickers, they were at home. Tried to make a copy of Cab card. Apparently when I renewed, I got a 30 day temp. They still needed proof of insurance. Somehow I missed that part. First time I’ve renewed online. Didn’t even notice!!! Had to email my proof of ins today. New cab card should be available to print tomorrow. Meanwhile 01 sticker for plate is in the mail. Mystery solved. I’m going through my files. I’ve got 16 yrs of records. Too much. Getting rid of everything that’s not required to be kept. Been so preoccupied with Tests for physical and clearinghouse crap. So now I’m all Legal. Don’t want to give them any Ammunition. I’m sure they’ll find something anyways, if I get inspected, I think I’m good to go.

 

I hope none of you guys are out East. It’s looks pretty nasty. I’m headed out Friday. Going south and staying south till April.

I just renewed my tags.
They’ll be in before the end of the year..
I’m still waiting on title to be changed on the KW, not quite two months, but getting close.
