This is one of the biggest reasons I enjoy working where I do... This is the message I got from dispatch when I informed them I was shutting it down because of the wind.

It does take a lot longer when they have turn to turn the truck back over.

At least there wasn't any gun play involved.

That's seems a bit pricey for those high quality Ironman, and having to install them yourself

I'm have gone to nuke plants. They are a bit crazy, kids with m16s. I didn't like. I have gone to Norfolk, 30 year olds wearing haiwan shirts following me around, that I was fine with. I went to the bathroom, he followed me in there, I asked??????? He said he couldn't take eyes off me. But he wasn't jumpy.

It's also why I like Stevens. They'd rather it be late than risk it. Even dispatch will tell you to shut it down. It's rare you have to mention safety department.

When I ran over the evil, snowy Mountain of Doom yesterday ODOT had the chain law in effect for vehicles over 10k GVWR.

On my way back, saw one of them drivers who didn't think chains were for him. Drive tires up against the guard rail, trailer #### eyed and sticking half way into the other lane.

Look at all the time he saved by not chaining!

That's how Palo Verde is. It's a FULL search of the truck while you're license is spot checked ( and it goes in a little safe ) by 3 dudes with 16's ( slung ) and a dog.

    There's 3 security levels.

Level 2 you are stalked by dudes with 16's slung and watched like a hawk. Level 3 is actually inside the containment building.

We were in The Onion ( teamsters ) so it all paid the same. So I'd rather have dealt with Pedro doing a sidewalk any day.

Some dude's with self esteem problems wanted to be the important guys all the time. The OM and I are just fine with our self esteem, and we'll take the money.

The 21 year old with guns, they were a bit of a mess. The 35 year old seemed to me like he saw action in the sandbox so he was chilled. You would think taking boxes and pipes to a place where the navy places with nuke reactors and weapons, would be worse. They were just more mature about it.
