Worst one I've been to was at Dugway Proving grounds near Tooele, Ut. I had a load of laboratory equipment going to the Bio-Chem lab there. They develop antidotes and PPE for use against Bio-Chemical weapons and to do this they have to have they real deal there to work with. They call the bio chem stuff "agents". Got through the gate, had to go to the security office with the 2 guys that were there to unload and install the equipment. They check truck and trailer registration, insurance and took our pictures. Then we were escorted 11 miles out into the desert to the lab complex. When we got there, they checked our papers and had our pictures so they could make sure we were the same ones that were at security. We stopped at a building where they gave us a little tank with a hood attached that went over our heads. For if they had an 'agent" release it would give us 10 minutes of breathable air. Then to the lab itself where they thoroughly searched the truck. Had a couple guys up on a rise with machine guns. Signs everywhere said "Lethal Force Authorized". In the lab if two guys came down the hall carrying a cooler and said "agent" we had to back up out of the way.
Was interesting but I was ready to get out of there when I got done.austinmike, dwells40, LoSt_AgAiN and 5 others Thank this. -
u guys shouldve seen what i witnessed last night.. 2 am i wake up to some dude just revving his engine full throttle over and over again . I thought to myself what the hell is going on? So i peak thru my window shades to make sure im not in the immediate path of getting my equipment destroyed , and this guy across the parking lot from me(he was parked facing the fuel pumps , i was parked facing his passanger side) is stuck in his parking spot on the ice, trying to get out but just spinning the tires full throttle....
There was 3 guys trying to help him so i stayed in my truck just watching and laughing my ### off ....when i say full throttle i mean put it in gear and jam it to the floor.. Didnt even try to rock it or anything , just put it in gear and WAAAAAAHH... he had an older freightliner with A older engine so there was black smoke going everywhere....this guy did this for about 30 minutes, then one of the guys helping him gets an idea , and they started trying to rock back and forth. but he went to far back and WAM , jumped the curb behind him and slammed his trailer right into the light pole... he hit that thing hard enough to move it, i thought for sure that pole is coming down...
So after walking back to check the damage, he gets back in his truck and goes back to his full throttle spin tires, and finally after about 5 mins of pedal to the medal tire spinning, his tires grab traction and his truck took off across the truckstop at about 100 mph and all i see is the guy with a white kuckle grip on the steering wheel on a frickin b line headed right towards the fuel pumps lmfao
Somehow by the grace of god he missed the pumps and the concrete posts by a couple feet and finally got the truck stopped. So he gets out of his truck and walks around and surveys the situation and then gets back in and takes off down the road....
Meanwhile by this point i am on the floor of my truck gasping for air from laughing so hard , asking myself what the #### did i just watchInTooDeep, JolliRoger, thelushlarry and 13 others Thank this. -

Escape from Commie Annex East is incomplete.
Stopped at the Waterloo NY Petro.
Had the chicken parm and spaghetti.
And of course the chocolate peanut butter cake.
I had turned my phone off, and when I checked it again, my travel agent had asked if I wanted a Cincy to Kansas for Monday, with a probable backhaul outta Des Moines.
Then he sent a "disregard, already covered it" text.
Bummer. Probably gonna be back on the Triangle Of Pain next week. Again.
Just another truckin' day........could be a lot worse.
Watch some Netflix, then off to bed. Later!JolliRoger, dwells40, LoSt_AgAiN and 5 others Thank this.
