can someone tell me where the battery kill switch is on a 2021 Freightliner Cascadia? I have looked everywhere and can't find it, normally its on the floor by drivers side seat. Just wondering how I'm supposed to go home for three or four days without killing the battery. the truck has optimized idle but I don't know if I'm supposed to leave it on for that length of a Time. I wish it had an APU

May not have one. They're usually optional equipment. Maybe check the battery box.

If being away from the truck for 3 or 4 days will kill the batteries, there's an issue with the truck.

That long will kill the battery just from the Qualcom cycling on and off, unless they are brand new batteries.
    Especially in this colder weather.

It's between the driver's seat and the driver's door on the truck's floor IF it's there. Like others have said, it's optional. Good luck manually unhooking/turning off everything if it's not.

I've got trucks that sit for weeks in cold temps with zero battery issues. We don't even use the battery shut off on our 2021 Kenworth that sits every weekend usually for three days. If you are using a battery shut off on a new DEF truck, allow it to go through the shutdown cycle or risk freezing up the DEF in the lines.

Your tractor may not have a "switch" per se, however, most likely there is a battery protection device in it. This will automatically disconnect the battery to preserve enough power to crank it. If the batteries are all OK they should be able to sit for a few days!

They are optional, you need to order it when the truck is ordered.
