I do think if I ever ended up with a 379 short hood one of those "Little Big Hood" kits would be pretty sharp looking!

I liked my sloped non-extended hood, but I agree it would've looked a lot better with a non sloped short hood

long hood.....you will hit the car in front of you sooner

short hood....you will hit the car in front of you later

it's a truck, long hood, short hood, no hood. you stop when you see the tires, rear bumper of the car in front of you, not when you cannot see any part of that car.

and just in case....buy MORE insurance.

The short hood 359s do look good with a half decent paint job on them.

Do it again, but this time blow up the trans and make sure its got a 13 speed put in, then wait about 2 years during which time you make them put in a slightly bigger sleeper and a 3 foot frame stretch. Then, In 2-4 years
When you blow up the c15, have em grab a 3406e (5ek model) and strap it in, THEN contact me :p

    Canadianhauler21 Thanks this.

I was doing a delivery in Quebec City with a long nose 379. I was on a City Street and going from red light to red light when I got to the fourth red light a little green Honda civic creeps out from the front of my hood and two French guys get out of the Honda and give me the wtf gesture.

I climbed down out of the truck and asked them what's the problem. In broken English, he said for three lights now you push me. I said no way.

He looks at his rear bumper and points to where the screws that held my license plate on had made an indentation in his plastic bumper. He said see you push me.
I was yeah they line up perfectly. How much money you want for the damage.
The French guy asks me 'are you a TML fan?'
I said yeah I am. He tells me don't worry about it ' I feel sorry for you.' He and his friend start laughing like crazy and get back in the car and drive off.

I'll put one up when we're done under the hood in a bit. Just put an N14 in place of the old big cam and still chasing a few bugs.
