I'd imagine there's some quarries in your area. Maybe try dump trucking, or cement mixer at a redi mix plant.

Local dry bulk tanker work is easy, I start at 2am, usually finish around 1pm, and I haven't worked a weekend in over a year. Home every day. Venezia transport has a terminal in New Middletown, OH (according to their website). Perhaps they'd have something local for you.

I have a friend in that area who started out as a Class B driver for Performance Foodservice, then moved up to a Class A driver for them. He was there a little over a year and got a job with NDCP (Dunkin Donuts). He is also a Pastor and father.

The point is, what you are looking for is out there, but as has already been said, you will earn every bit of it if you choose foodservice deliveries.

At KoolShot he will usually be home daily. If not on the rare occasion they put you in a hotel for the night. He will be driving a box truck. He would load it up at the warehouse & then unload @ the customers.

There is no such thing as a good fleece, I mean lease purchase. You should never speak to the potato head that told you that again, ever!

    - If you find that potato head’s lost dog, turn it into the pound without telling him

    - If Satan asks you for his address, offer to take him right to that potato head’s door step.

    - If you get the opportunity, take a crap on that potato head’s door step.

Am I getting through to you fella?

Update: I am starting soon with a company that was suggested on this site. Thanks everyone! I was able to find a company that would work with my unique schedule, which I know is super rare in trucking. Excited to get on the road!

I wouldn’t get too excited just yet.

You haven’t started yet so there’s no way to know if you’ve found a company that will work with your unique schedule.

You only know that a recruiter told you they would work with you. A recruiter will tell you anything.

They’d tell you they will make sure 4 virgins will be awaiting your arrival at the truck stop every night If they thought that would get you to hire in with them.

Savor the Flavor, Badmon and 88 Alpha Thank this.
