If there's multiple turning lanes, turn left from the furthest right turning lane, and turn right from the furthest left turning lane

So he has more room to turn allowing for the trailer tracking to not run over top of the 4 wheelers in the other lanes.

I always choose the outermost lane for a turn. It allows for the most trailer off track without trailer off tracking into another lane. So, I pull out as far forward as I can with my truck before I start to cut the corner so my trailer off tracking will stay in its lane. My tractor will get out of the turning lane, but by using the outermost lane, it doesn't block another traffic lane.
Also, picked up this tip here, when in a roundabout, traffic circle, whatever you want to call it. Be a hog and block all the lanes while you are in the circle so other vehicles don't faniggle themselves into a place where the trailer will side swipe them.

I want to add, everytime you corner, you should be paying attention to where your trailer tandems track and always try and not clip the corner with it. Always pretend there's a car or bollard or something that you are needing to maneuver around without hitting with your trailer. The main purpose is to make turning in such a manner as instinctive as possible. That way, if you've ingrained that habit, you'll more likely to make the turn correctly where there is something there and for whatever reason you aren't paying the attention to it you need to. If you get in the habit of always turning a corner without clipping it with your trailer. That's exactly what you'll do, because it's the way you always do. And less likely to hit something there that you aren't paying attention to. My opinion anyway.
