First you need to submit the proper paperwork to daf105paccar for approval.

Next go around, I will forget a sliding 5th on my tractor. I may need to move the stationary mount a couple of inches early on to fine tune it to what I want after I haul a few loads and see how things sit, but once it is where I want it, go until the truck is ready for the junkyard without changing it. Not having a sliding 5th saves weight.

I just replaced the fifth wheel on my truck today. I got a Volvo vnl 2011. I was there and watching him doing it, to be honest if some of you need to change it just do it in the shop! It was really hard it took him almost 3hours. Nasty job i think. I bought the fifth wheel $900 in columbus, oh. I know its kinda pricey but i had a lot of snop and decide to put new one. Feels better when the trailer is not clunking
