Its a pain in the ### because now I gotta drop everything and go back to the building, dig out the jack and hoist it into the trailer for them.

I used to carry 8 4x4 pieces under the deck of my trailer up on the cross members. I rarely use them because most shippers have dunnage. I also got a new trailer week before last so I have no dunnage now.

cke, D.Tibbitt and Eldiablo Thank this.

On a somewhat unrelated note. I don't understand the lumper thing. For about 20years now I've done either flat of heavy o.d. RGN. the idea of paying someone to take their freight off my trailer really baffles me and that is putting it nicely.

I swear the fuel department messed with me yesterday; I told them my truck wasn’t moving until I got fuel, they sent it over right after but it kept saying I exceeded my fuel limit, contacted them and my dm about it, at least 9 tries and 5 hours later it went through after the fuel department reached out and said it was good to go and to send a macro 29 or whatever, the fuel error code message, for now on when I did, twice.... not a schmuck much lounger

I'm talking about refer and dry van, which I have about zero experience with. Apparently at food warehouses and the like this is a common thing.

I don’t know how you do it. You have my respect. I wouldn’t have lasted 10 mins. I tend to get mouthy. I’m trying to not be that way but sometimes I can’t help it.

I'd only do it to the LTL guys with no pallet jacks lol.
