Yes. Agreed but I’m willing to bet that the sound he is hearing is a chirping sound that is actually coming from the stack caused by a vacuum and air turbulance catching that stack and fighting to get in against the exhaust when his boost comes up.
Strange Manifold noise after 10,000 miles on a new truck.

WOW: So much on this!
Most common cause a squeal with higher boost is charge air cooler boots leaking.
We used to put a little frame on the back of a single and add an air bag tag. Move the 5th wheel back. Cheap truck could haul 80,000 GVWR. That was why but I cannot imagine a truck being made that way these days.Itsbrokeagain, Brettj3876 and AModelCat Thank this. -
Yep just a little slit in the boots will make it squeal pretty good. I chased a boost leak for a month before finding just the smallest little slit. Drove me crazy trying to locate it.
Mine was the boot in the center piece of the intake manifoldBoxCarKidd Thanks this. -

Yes sir you are absolutely right , thank you your reply, sir i fixed the exhaust and i am not hearing that noise no more but after 3-4 hours running truck today i heard noises again when the manifold gauge goes up, i think it damaged the turbo, can you help me with that? Something i can do about it

I highly doubt it hurt the turbo.
Brettj3876 Thanks this. -
I’m not saying it did, but it could’ve damaged the turbo or the actuator.
All I know is you could take it to a shop and let them check it over, or just run it.
Isx turbos are not cheap, I bought one it was 4800, the actuator was 1000, I got it for 800, but it is still a big hit on the pocketbook.
If it’s under warranty, can have it checked over -
I’d take a very close look at your exhaust system, starting right at the head. Look for the slightest signs of any soot anywhere. I had a similar squeal that you mentioned. I pressure tested my cooler, intake manifold and every boot in the system with zero pressure loss. My turbo was inspected for end / radius play, both well within spec. I ended up finding a faulty clamp on the back of the turbo, where you really couldn’t see it. How I found it was I moved a lit cigarette around the clamp and in one certain area it would blow the ashes off the cigarette and make the cherry glow. It was enough to leak but couldn’t feel it on my hands (too thick skinned maybe). I went in there with a mirror and saw a tiny amount of soot which wouldn’t wipe off with your fingers. I took it apart, cleaned it, put a new clamp on and it’s been ever since. I feel your pain because it’s very irritating...especially when it doesn’t do it all the time.

Does it only make the noise in the upper range of the boost pressure? Say 20+ psi?? If so you might be hearing the exhaust flowing through the EGR cooler. I know I could hear it on my x15.
