For the last 25 years, I have never had tiredness issues, and only need 3 hours sleep a night to remain wakeful and alert. I do prefer to sleep 5 or so hours because I get grumpy and irritable with less than 5 hours sleep. That by itself would tell any competent doctor without a vested interest in selling me a $1000 machine that the concept of me having sleep apnea is ludicrous.God prefers Diesels, Coffey, Eldiablo and 2 others Thank this. -
Farmerbob1 Thanks this.

It's not a dumb machine that simply blows air. It also measures the air coming back from exhalation so it can adjust the pressure sent.kemosabi49, Wespipes and Farmerbob1 Thank this. -

I had a cracked mask, and the machine knew something was wrong. -
I do believe @ZVar is correct it. I hadn't considered that fact about the mask in my previous post .
Farmerbob1 Thanks this. -

Also, if your machine is a Respironics, your can download the Dreammapper app onto your phone and download wirelessly from your machine whenever you want. I'm sure Resmed probably has something similar.TB John Thanks this. -
