    Overhaul work is a b**ch. Many of the original blueprints for the CVN series went missing during/after the strike when it was Tenneco. Or so I was told. (I was E22 structural design 2000-2007 for CVNX) So repairs or new systems integration gets designed and documented off pen and ink drawings with little scribbles noting unique conditions for various hulls.
    It's a nightmare. Keeping those early boats fitted with newer technology was not cost effective even by government standards.
