Loud reefer pulled in and the vibration in my sleeper was insane so I moved. More than once I might add.
Ever moved parking spots?

That vibration and sound really gets to me.
Not so much when it is next door, but it sure does when I am connected to it.
I have been helping out on a dedicated Costco account. I told them fine, but NO reefers!God prefers Diesels Thanks this. -
I run reefer, so for whatever reason, they usually don't bother me. Most of our reefer trailers use Thermo Kings which usually aren't too loud. However, we do have some trailers with Carrier units on them and are noticably louder. And, when a Carrier Unit automatically runs through a defrost cycle they get really loud. That bothers me more for how it probably bugs my neighbors and I sheepishly want to apologize to them for it.

I moved a couple times in Canada because the trucks idling were like if you sat there and gradually revved up your engine from 500rpm to 1500rpm every 5 seconds constantly all fricking day long. About the most annoying idle setup you could possibly create. First time I heard that I thought about going over and strangling the guy until I realized that it couldn't possibly be some dude sitting there doing it with his foot.
God prefers Diesels and baha Thank this. -
Ringmaster APUs, when the first big APU buying thing hit and lots of different company got into the APU market. Some of them sound like lawnmowers. Plus the exhaust from they was horrible. You still find a couple of them or just older diesel APU not keep going correctly they just pouring out crazy exhaust.
I have changed park stops for parking lot leaning wrong way. Truck that keep popping off air dryer every 5 minutes because they have air leak they won't fix. If parking Saturday evening parking lot full. Sunday morning you can get front row parking when lots of drivers leaveMagoo1968 and slow.rider Thank this.
