3 Weeks On; 1 Week Off

    Are there companies that offer this sort of schedule and still be considered full time with benefits?
    Especially tanker work. That would be a dream job for me.

    I will be moving back to the South when I get my first year with Swift/Knight.
    It'd be great if Oakley, Indian River, Foodliner, or Bynum offered something like that.

    I was with Schneider Bulk (tanker) in 2012/2013, you could go 3 weeks out and 6 days off. I think you could also do 2 weeks on and 3 days off.

    I don’t know if it’s still like that, or how the money is these days,, but if it’s still the same i guess it pretty much meets your criteria

    My normal job is 2 weeks on 2 weeks off and then I have my own truck when I'm home. Oilfield

    Plenty of oilfield companies will let you work a schedule like that. But outside the oilfield I guess you would have to look for a carrier with a "flex fleet" because I'm pretty sure that the normal schedule is still one day off for 7 days out.

    You might check with Schneider. They used to have a home run fleet . Two weeks out a week off. They also have some kind of jet fleet..they fly you out and you drive for three weeks then they send you home for six days.

    Are you wanting to do OTR? Magnum (based out of Fargo, ND and hauls reefers) doesn't have a specific hometime policy and you can take however many days off as you want as long you stay out for at least 2 weeks. Within reason of course. Pretty sure you could do the 3 weeks on and 1 week off there. They have a thread on this forum:

    I've asked plenty of questions in that thread. They're all very friendly in that thread if you want to ask them further about their hometime policy or pay or anything like that. Magnum seems like a great company. I asked within the past couple of months and they said the starting pay is $0.49 CPM and then there's monthly bonuses as well.

    I used to work for Britton Transport. I left only because I found a regional job where I can be off a full day every Saturday & Sunday. Britton was good to me. They theoretically had a policy of 1 day off for every week out. However, I regularly stayed out 3 weeks and took 1 week off. Never a word was said about it. It is not tanker but they do have flatbed or reefer/dry van.
