I can remember back when I was younger than two. I remember being in the baby buggy and outside of the house in NJ. Thinking how wonderful it was to be able to take a nap there. I still use that memory to fall asleep at night. Has lots of memories of growing up. Some not so great, some are fantastic. The joys of not doing anything that kills brain cells.

    1/2 oz.
    white rum
    1 1/2 oz.
    golden rum
    1 oz.
    dark rum
    1/2 oz.
    151-proof rum
    1 oz.
    lime juice
    1 tsp.
    pineapple juice
    1 tsp.
    papaya juice
    1 tsp.
    superfine sugar

Stir together all the ingredients except the 151.

Pour the mixture into a 14-ounce glass three-fourths full of cracked ice

Float the 151 as a lid by pouring it into a spoon and gently dipping it under the surface of the drink.
(If the spirit moves you, take a match to this mixture; it will burn. )

Garnish with mint (either straight or dipped in lime juice and then superfine sugar) and/or fruit.

    A Little Background
The Zombie was one of very first tiki drink to make it big. Back in 1930s Hollywood, a guy named Don the Beachcomber opened a bar where he served tropical drinks loaded with rum. The Zombie was one of them, likely cooked up for some poor sap with a massive hangover whose deathly shuffle caught Don's sympathy. Either way, it caught one, especially at the Hurricane Bar at the 1939 New York World's Fair. Don the Beachcomber is still considered the father of tiki culture.

My motto is tight on injectors, loose on valves middle trending towards tight on jakes.

    Hasn't failed me yet.

Grits were not available at the PFJ hot counter. In fact, all the had was pizza, and it was 730am. Shoulda had the biscuits out, I guess biscuit lady didn't come to work today.

If I coulda forseen how the day was gonna play out, I would've just ate at Denny's. Pretty sure they have grits.

I like my Sears Atlas seats. Had them in a company truck and got some really good life out of ‘em. So of course when I bought my own truck a few weeks back I put a set in it. Runs just shy of $900 per. Well worth it in my opinion. I don’t have short legs but I do appreciate a seat with a comfortable adjustable lumbar. As far as where I got ‘em I ordered them through 4State. Happy huntin, hope you find the ones that are best for ya.

It’s telling you, it’s time for service, new filters, it’ll get to doing a regen everyday
