Correct, they opened for one class but closed back down. They haven't announced when they are going reopen. I will update again when they inform us they are reopening.

Jenn... So you're still liking FFE after the "few years"? I think you posted elsewhere what you were able to make in the first year -- were you able to reasonably increase that, now that you have more experience with them? FFE is on a short list of companies I'd like to move to after CDL school and getting some experience with my "starter company". Driving their linehaul terminal-to-terminal is very appealing to me.

Like I have said in my other post, the 1st 6 months as a newbie you will get the short loads, but will the have the chance to help out local & regional while waiting for a linehaul load. (Linehaul leaves Thurs - Sun) Do it! It pays well (by the hour) and shows them your a team player & want to work. -
And after that initial year (or two) with the company, roughly how much do you think a solo, linehaul driver can make (with the new pay rate or structure)? -
Last yr (2020) a solo driver I know w/ 1.5 yrs experience made $64k. He avg 120k miles & helped out local/regional. The raise that took effect in Jan bumped his pay up $0.10 a mile. If he does the same mileage (120k) that is a $12k raise a yr. So in 2021 w/ everything being the same he would make $76k. -
Jenn72 Thanks this.
