Find a company that you want to work for, call them and ask what you need to work for them. See if they're firm on necessary experience (they may be due to insurance).
Get what they need, and go work for them.homeskillet Thanks this. -
I can make my truck go forward without any problem. I actively work on my backward skills. I take my job seriously and don't wear sandles

If that's how you talk to dispatch then there's decent odds that they'll return the favor in the form of exactly the types of passive-aggressive behaviors you've described.plankton, QuietStorm, TravR1 and 10 others Thank this.

Chinatown will be around shortly but how much experience do you have? And please for the love of god.. do not jump to a worse company just to move. If you can’t land something significantly better. Stay until you can
rachi and LtlAnonymous Thank this. -
Just be careful. Sometimes that grass only looks greener because it's astroturf! Don't take just one driver's word for a carrier. I hate to sound so gloomy, but drivers are known to use hyperbole and out-and-out lies when it comes to describing their carriers when sitting in truck stops. I know a guy that left a small carrier operation because he wanted to run the west coast more. Today he hates this job and can't get his old job back.
rachi and slow.rider Thank this.
