Its sad but these days even a mediocre employee is head and shoulders above everyone else just by showing up on time and staying off the phone during work hours.

The older end of the Millennial spectrum are generally not bad, its the later years/Gen Z that are the entitled ones.

 

not knowing what part of the country you live in, but i live here in New England, and i have roofers coming over this monday (26th), to do a layover. back in 1994, the entire roof was stripped, and all new wood put on then. so all i need is that layover.

they were supposed to start May 3rd, but called me and asked if they can come over sooner.

i said "sure", and the 2 pallets of shingles and other supplies were delivered yesterday (Friday).

don't know how many are going to be here come Monday, but in 1 day, it'll be all done as well.
