I’m in Ohio and it’s seems like I’m getting 1000 different things told to me to get my plates for my truck and trailer. I went to the BMV and was told that I had to create a IRP account. I go to the website they gave me and it’s a paper I have to print and fill out, and fax or email over to the IRP office. I called them 1000 times and no one answers.
If anyone could please point me in the right direction or explain to me what I REALLY need to do, I would greatly appreciate it

In Colorado you can go to the state office or dmv online for irp...not too bad of a process...each state is different and covid has complicated things

Trux doesn’t -

You can fax or email all of your info to IRP in Ohio for the truck plates. Should be a checklist online. I did mine in February. Less than a week later they sent me username and password. Invoice was in the portal. Way easier than I expected. Trailer plates will go through regular BMV.
