What's weird about a "Hanging Pedal"??
What's special about a "Floor Pedal"??

Gee, I dunno, maybe this schematics on a 2020 w 900 at DuckDuckGo will help.
IF not, check with Your Local K 'Whopper Dealer.

Have you ever driven the hanging pedal W900? If you did, you'd understand why they want to change it.
The floor mount pedal is far more comfortable and you have better control.

By the way, your link came back with a bunch of BS links. Next time try to help instead of being a douchebag about it.

I've driven K'Whopper, Peterbilt, Freightshaker, Mack, Cornbinder, Volvo. Models from 1980's to 2016.
    "Hanging Pedals & Floor Mounted".
NEVER had a "problem" with "hanging throttle pedal".
I drove Vehicles as they were set up and some few had NO FUEL PEDAL, just a metal rod where the Pedal USED TO BE.

    "douchebag", thanks for the chuckle.
    CHEERS!!
