Where is everyone #5

Those 5.4s will run forever too. When i was doing 3rd party work for Schlumberger they were just starting to replace their pickups. Most of em had 300k+. One of em was 412k miles.

I've only driven 1 5.0 and the 09 5.4 3V 6sp felt like it had more bottom end grunt. The 5.0 felt more rev happy

 

Soap your complete suspension system including the control valve exhaust. It may be a valve bypassing a bit of air only while in ride height. Also wiggle the valve lever sideways with fresh soap on the lever pivot.
You may have a minor rub through leak in a line that is leaking behind a chassis clamp or a bag that has a pinhole in the folded area.
I have seen all of these problems at one time or another.

Well crap. My compressor isn't coming on. Fuses are good and I swapped relays......soooo time for the multimeter I guess. Ugh

 

The 5.4’s I’ve heard about aren’t all that great. The cam phasers give trouble. I don’t generally buy fords but I was told if I did to stay away from the 5.4.

 

OEM will tell you not to run 15 40 but after switching to that it really quieted it down

 

Well I just learned 2 things.
1: I don't know dick about A/C
2: it is my front right airbag leaking


Sooooooo.........1 out of 2 ain't bad....I guess.

 

Push button, witchcraft happens and cold air comes out the vents.
