No ####, I saw a guy the other night with one of those high dollar blow up dolls in the passenger seat. Had her dressed up as an older lady. I was talking to my old lady and started cackling. She got mad that I was laughing so hard, until I told her what I saw.

I think that's a civilian position supplemented by actual LEOs. So one probably won't have to worry about the whole; "apply/test for state police academy, 6-10 months in The Suck, then 2-4 years doing statie duty" prior to requesting a commercial vehicle assignment. So that's definitely one option for former drivers.

As far as The Blitz, I've rarely experienced anything different during those specialized weeks than any other weeks. I've been pulled over for randoms by TX DPS in the middle of nowhere. And even those were usually 5-6 years apart knock on wood.

Dot does what ever the #### they want . Just keep uncle same money set aside for your bad luck day. I'd recommend saving for one citation a year just so you already know you got the cash. Those tyrants will pull a cotter key out and say it was missing , the illusion of dressing like john wayne or some chevy sales man is just stroking your ego, a scumy cop won't give a #### what you are wearing he wants that money money money. I don't trust dot one bit but it's either obey or go to prison unfortunately .

This is not a trucker story like usual.
I actually got popped going west on I 80
    Coming into Applegate 80 in a 55
Back in late 90’s. CHP actually let me go
I was listening to an audio book on cassette tape. Had a lapse of judgement
Was polite and honest and had a clean record. Let me go after a level 3 type inspection. So not all are pricks or out for money.

Yeah I have several years as a shop foreman for a fleet and also 6 years as a mechanic in a KW dealer and still keep some of my Certifications up to date. Seriously considering it. They are very interested in me, as they put it I know the equipment and the tricks especially log books paper logs and the time compression tricks.

Are they requiring you to wear a mask when you're called in with paperwork at the scales? I've only had to show paperwork in Washington state recently and they came out to the truck so I didn't need a mask. I've been waiting to get called in somewhere that has a sign requiring masks and then that leading to a level 1 when I refuse to put on the mask.
My argument is, if the virus is so dangerous as to require the masks then why in the world would you be stopping people randomly to make contact and run paperwork. The lack of common sense really grinds my gears.
