So I am less than 2 weeks away from taking my Class A test and I seriously wanna get out of CT. What are some good states out west that are affordable not cramped warm 90% of the time and have the hottest women. I don’t want to be Within 1000 miles of the East Coast

Albuquerque, Phoenix, and Vegas offer most of those requirements.

Id say get your cdl, then go otr with a company that will let you see the country a little

should be easier to figure out for yourself if you have some exposure to the geography. Warm weather is overrated, summertime's a killer in a truck. Also, where you call home can affect the money you could earn depending on the freight you pull.

If youve got your heart set on moving, amd just want to cut ties to ct before you go out i'd advise putting your stuff in storage in ohio or indiana, (pods would be nice but scheduling may be rough on the east coast atm)
but i dont think that its wise to do that until youve been out on your own in your own truck for a month or so, you may discover you hate otr and will essentially be homeless till you can get your stuff and an apartment or place to stay back.

    Agree

If you don’t need a place to live, run the road some and save $$

I was in Mn and moved to a warmer State but now sorta wish I would have gone either to Aschville NC or Montana

I was recently in Maine, outskirts of Bangor and not sure how winters are but the few hundred miles I ran on two lane roads was pretty amazing!!

If I didn’t need a home I would run for a few weeks and then take a week off at a resort in a different location every break

We may end up doing that soon anyway
Plan is to get a big bunk and wife getting CDL just for that extra few drive hours that make a difference and then vaca every few weeks

If I was gonna move west, I think I’d check out Flagstaff Arizona. May not fit the “warm” requirement

Short drive down the hill for that
Isn’t Flagstaff sorta a quiet type area?

Yeah, I’m going to second driving OTR for at least half a year or so. You’ll get a good feel for areas you like by then, and can research the ones you like. I’ve been out here awhile now and have a short list where I’m going to buy. The list would have surprised me had I seen it before driving the country. Places I had no idea that I’d want to live.

Las Vegas is where I moved to and love it here.
Summertime year round, palm trees and loaded with beautiful women.
    No state income taxes.

Where ever you decide to live, if you rent, go through a rental agency or real estate agent that also manages rental property.
    Don't rent online.
Too many scams around where people see something for rent and lose money because it was a scam.
Happens a lot, all over the USA.
