Always check Google maps, but be very careful about the detours it gives you. Two days ago there was an accident on I-75S a bit outside Detroit and the delay was 45 minutes. I seen it before hand and took the exit before.
Got off and there's a sign that said (trucks more than 3 axles no left turn). No problem I made a right and planned on taking the road that ran parallel to it. Got to the next light and saw( Trucks over 3 axles no right turn).
Long story short, ended up taking a no truck route for 6 miles and got back onto the highway. I did save about half an hour. But at what risk?Davidbenjamin and Dave_in_AZ Thank this. -

Cause it’s the only way of life I know
kirchen has a lot of good trucking songs on his Dieselbilly Road Trip and Tied to the Wheel albums .
You old timers will remember him as the guitarist from the Hot Rod Lincoln song.
NavigatorWife and tarmadilo Thank this.
