.38-.45 cpm is ridiculous. Hell no I wouldn’t work for that. Keep looking. There are good companies out there that pay well.

Milage pay in general is a scam, keeps you always chasing miles for not much reward, look for an actual decent job before jumping ship, if you post a location someone may be able to help

If you can handle nighttime running and have all endorsements look at the ltl carriers. If not I’d look for a manufacturer hauling their own product.

    That pay is too low.

I was making that as a rookie at mega six years ago

No location will take me with auto restriction in my area. I’d have the endorsements already if they would. It don’t even get that far it’s “hire people with auto restriction” “no” “alright have a good day”

This may be a YOU problem then, try getting the auto restriction off the license and try again?

Easier said then done. Besides with the abundance of other jobs in trucking it’s not like I’m overly limited.

I could move 100miles and work a day job easier then I could find a way to remove auto restriction. I’m not to that point yet.

If thats your story and you want to stick to it, i obviously wont change your mind, but outside of an actual disability that makes shifting a manual out of the question, you are cutting yourself out of many other opportunities and youll have a hard time convincing ME otherwise.

Dont get me wrong, autos have their place in trucking, but that place simply isnt EVERYWHERE
