I Got Passed by a Prime

Maybe a L/O? Also maybe your (or Primes) speedometer is a little inaccurate.

 

Last I heard, Company Drivers were 58 on the pedal....62 on cruise. L/O were governed at 65. But.......rumor has it that there are L/O's that are covertly having their Trucks turned up to 68. Apparently, there is an underground network of outlaw shops that are performing the feat. I'm sure there is an under the table cash transaction involved. I have not heard about the ramifications from Management if caught though. Since Prime drivers are only "PRetending It's MinE", the Truck is still Owned by Prime.

 

I had one pass me similarly a few days ago. I drive for Swift and governed at 65. So, it isn't unusual that I get passed. But, Prime trucks, at least used to be, some of the only trucks I ever needed to pass.

 

Werner has been passing me lately. I can do a whooping 67. Of course that decreases at the slightest hill due to my tiny MP7 engine.

 

Your truck obviously derated it’s self. Speedometer lying to you to make you feel good. Either that or You’re in the Twilight Zone.

 

I too have noticed this. I usually run 70 mph and they've been getting harder to pass. I used to blow their doors off

 

What kind of World is this where prime and werner are regularly passing me, even when i get the bump to 68 for good MPG, when did werner become 70 mph ?? And they were company trucks because there was no leased to on the side....and it was the dark blue werner colors...we have officially entered the twilight zone....
