I went no further west than TX didn’t go further than Pittsburgh in PA, all states in between.
Lowest gross per week was $2100 and that’s when I didn’t run that much and took 2.5 days off when I came down bad sick on the road.
Being home every weekend I usually grossed $3000-3500/week, but you gotta give it time to learn agents (brokers) I found a few I ran for all the time.
My circle was AR-NC/SC then to TX-KS KS-NC- to Texarkana Tx which brought me homebgreyhart and Speed_Drums Thank this. -
So it’s been little over a month I’ve been on for LS. I actually got a dedicated deal that’s power only paying the same as if I owned my Van. 5 days a week, regional. I’ve actually made it home a few nights a week during my runs. I’m taking home about $2200 a week after everything. This is WAAAAAAYYYYY better than intermodal!!!!
D.Tibbitt and Speed_Drums Thank this. -

I’m an O/O running only rail yard since 2018 out of Haslet. Prior to COVID take home pay averaged 2500-4K a week and during COVID averages sitting about 1500-3k take home. Home daily.
