So apparently there's a kayaker that took pics of the bridge back in 2016 and you zoom in and can see the crack. ap21140505333305.jpg Screenshot_20210522-083150_Gallery.jpg

I was surprised at how it seems to tighten, compress, and break the excess in just one fast step. I thought it would work more like a regular pop rivet where it would cycle a few times as it tightened and crimped before finally breaking off the tail. I tried a loose one too where usually a pop rivet would get screwed up, and it worked perfectly. Really neat tool that I didn't know I could have been using years before even buying a truck.

I'm actually more inclined to consider one for the big bolts on the frame. Well, only if I can find a bargain. 10k will buy a LOT of nuts and bolts.

I have tried 3 different led 194 bulbs. Works great in forward pannel. But get dim towards the center. Dimmer than incandescent. Still trying.

I found two kits on Amazon. The RAT640 is $1700 and the RAT2318 is just over $1800. Both do the same sizes/styles of fastners. Wonder if its worth the extra $120 for the 2318 model?

Those kits also have the 1/4" and Pete hood rivet noses. I just got the single 3/16 nose with mine for $795 USD. I figured I may never even need the other 2, and they're easily picked up in the future if needed. As for the 2 models, I really couldn't tell you. Both seem to have cheaper sourced components, but not like either one of us is going to be using it in a high volume shop.

I priced out the gun on its own plus the 1/4" and 3/16" noses seperate and it cost as much as the whole kit. Most of my cab is 1/4" hucks.

I never even noticed it. I only stopped in there a few times but I thought the pilot was all that was open.
