I’m highly skeptical that team drivers are grossing $3300 each. Heck, for that kind of money, I’d consider teaming.

Either way, both drivers of the team will make very good paychecks by running west coast every week.
I've done it pulling hazmat tankers running teams. Nashville to Seattle is easy to turn and have plenty of time off after returning to Nashville and having to leave out again for the next turn.

The school I went to works closely with Roadtex and career services recommended me to them also several of our instructors worked there in the story was always the same. The only thing is you’re getting paid 1099 and not W-2 that’s why the pay is so high because we have to pay our own taxes which I really don’t mind because I’m planning on getting my own truck within a year or two anyway and I’m going to have to pay my own taxes so I might as well get used to it now.I already have an LLC in an accountant that is helping me to do right offs

Forget the team gig. I wouldn’t do it for $3,300 a week.
    I got me a great co-driver.

Take the solo job! A long time ago I got my start driving team, never again do I want to share a small space with another driver. When you get a years experience you’ll start making better money and it doesn’t have to be a 1099 job either. Enjoy the freedom of the road as a solo driver as there’s little freedom when the truck seldom stops.

If you are talking about USA Truck as a company driver, I'd say go for it. But don't let them push you into the lease/purchase thing. Some say USA's lease program is ok but I would recommend a new driver take that step until he has at least a year as a company driver first to learn the industry.

I agree, 3000 miles sucks for a team, means a lot of sitting, probably at grocery warehouses.
Should be 6500-7000 mile/week for team.
    I’d solo it.

55 cpm for teaming on a 1099 is not high. It’s low. There are outfits that will pay that and more solo on a w2 with a bit of experience. Run away as fast as you can from 55 on 1099.
