I wouldn’t do it. You’re asking for trouble if you do. There’s nothing about milk that constitutes an emergency, especially “organic” milk. That crap has close to a 3 month shelf life.

From what I understand there is no need for a letter to begin with. You absolutely do run under PC when running exempt, how else would you do it on an elog? You put in notes that your running under exemption. You honestly could shut off your elog because you are exempt from any DOT logging rules at that time. It is definitely not to run a few hours here and there. It says right in the regulations that you can stay exempt from one load to the next and continue that way as long as you want, as long as your hauling exempt products. Not really sure where some of you guys are getting your info from.
