I've noticed I have far more idiots studying to be morons trying to make the upcoming exit in front of me when I'm in the far right lane than when I'm in the next lane over. Gives me quite a thrill when all I can see is the roof of the car go by my hood and nothing else. Thats why I'm not in the right lane in high traffic areas.

Running the middle lane is what they are teaching the new breed youngblood drivers today. How many times have you been in the right lane and some soccer mom Karen is merging on side by side with your rig then she dives off for the shoulder as she is calling 9-1-1 to report the big bad trucker ran her off the road?

I think most of us understand why its better to be in the center lane, but this is about camping out under the speed limit and causing traffic congestion when vehicles come up behind a slow moving truck, then have to cut left/right to get around them.

As for dipshi...wads merging into traffic from an on ramp, well thats upto you to pay attention for that possible hazard. I personally don't move over any more because its not my job to help idiots merge into traffic. I'll only move if they are completely oblivious and are fixing to run into me. Otherwise I let them drive down the shoulder.

In most states there's signs that say 'Trucks Keep Right' or 'Trucks Right 2 Lanes', for the most part keep right except to pass or center when going through populated areas where you have a lot of local traffic exiting and merging on.

Now image there is no duel lane carriage way and some clown has decided to drive at 15 mph below the speed limit during the peak hour period they are complete oblivious to the fact that there is 2 miles of traffic behind them and to make matters worse when you get on the radio and tell them to get off the road they got a go get *****## attitude.

If you ever go out to Iowa there are signs on the road that explains the left lane is the passing lane the middle lane is the travel lane and the right lane in the slow vehicle lane.

If you ever drive in Canada the drivers up there are real good about parking it in the middle lane. It's like a big convoy.
