I dropped at Riviana this morning in Dallas. I actually hooked to an empty reefer over there lol. No empty dry Van's. I came to Biagi Bros to reload. I'll be headed here soon. I'll have to stop by the yard so they can fix the reefer. I think it needs a new battery. I don't have to run it for a beer load, but I turned it on to check it when I hooked up to it, and the code for low voltage came up.mdmgolfin and Lumper Humper Thank this.

What's climates home time like ? Iv been seeing one of their drivers parked for home time every weekend . I thought they were all otr

Generally most of us are otr and required to stay out a minimum of two weeks. They do have some that don't live too far from the yard that run local an regional stuff, that go home every weekend. Generally speaking for everyone else it depends on where ya live an how you're dispatched. If freight lanes run ya through the house ya might be able to swing through home maybe more often than others. Those things i guess would have to be coordinated with dispatch. Any pre existing requirements for more home time outside of the normal requirements in the job description would have to be addressed with recruiting before accepting the job. I hope my long winded explanation helps.bryan21384, asphaltreptile311, dwells40 and 1 other person Thank this.

Out 10-11 days and 2 full days off. I’m home every other weekend.Professor No-Name, asphaltreptile311 and mdmgolfin Thank this.

Does two full days mean you get only 48 hours off or do they count the day you arrive home as a day of home time? Like get home Friday afternoon leave Sunday afternoon , or get home Friday afternoon and leave Monday morning?
Professor No-Name and Lumper Humper Thank this. -
I get home by friday and i usually leave out at 1300 on monday. So basically “or get home Friday afternoon and leave Monday morning?”JForce28, asphaltreptile311, Professor No-Name and 1 other person Thank this.

My hometime is a little bit less because of living in Memphis. Their freight aint consistent going through Memphis. Oftentimes they just put me on a Texas load. Every time I've made it home, I've managed to get a full 48 hrs. Hell its been occasions where I think I'll get 2 days off, and I end up getting what equals to 4, like I'll grab a load for Dallas on Friday, and they'll tell me don't deliver til Wednesday morning! You'll definitely get 48 hrs off barring any circumstances, but they work with you on your needs, especially if you run wellProfessor No-Name, mdmgolfin and Lumper Humper Thank this.

I actually got home Friday evening and left Sunday afternoon. I got more than a 34 so I'm cool with it. Probably when the 4th rolls around, everyone will have extensive hometime. Did you drop that Danville load at Craftsmen? I got a load from there headed to Danville for tonight.Professor No-Name and Lumper Humper Thank this.

Yeah, i got 4 minutes left on my 70. Speaking of hometime, picking up a load from coca cola going to denver tomorrow, then i’m off for the weekend.bryan21384, JForce28 and Professor No-Name Thank this.
