I'm sick of getting all these different phone mounts that either fall off my windshield, or wobble around, as well as drop my phone.
What are you guys using or having luck with??
Let's talk phone mounts

I bolt, I think they’re called.
But I screwed it into my dash - don’t have room or time for suction cup stuff.
Strictly for ELD use, I don’t have the phone phone mounted facing me.Last edited: Jun 8, 2021
Reason for edit: Wrong nameBanker, God prefers Diesels, Lite bug and 1 other person Thank this. -
they use adhesive pads and stick to dash. Has a metal plate that sticks to the back of your phone. Magnet on a pivot hold phone in place.
Works good 90% of the time. -

My company uses the Ram X Mount. Works great.

Same as UturnGirl. Simple pop socket thingy, but the not quite functional vacuum base is gorilla glued to my dash. Been there over a year and still works fine!
I also had to glue my dashcam too as that vacuum base didn't work well either. But, used clear rtv for that. Something I can scrape off when I remove my camera someday.UturnGirl Thanks this. -

Stop fooling around.
RAM mounts. Industry standard for police and fleets where thousands of vehicles need to have every manor of cell phone, tablet, computer whatever mounted where the operator can get to them. Made in the USA by the way.

Stay away from Magbuddy. Had several of them. Says right in the instructions you can only use the suction cup once, if it ever removed it will not stay attached. Confirmed it with a call to their "customer service line" in Mumbai India.Tb0n3 Thanks this.
