I agree. And if she was smart she would have recorded the harassment on her iPhone .
Hopped out at a truck stop , emailed the recording to a lawyer, took a Uber to the closest airport or bus station and gone home to await the very large check that would soon be in the mail.

For the record it is not a given a large settlement is going to happen. All the burden of proof is on the lady. She has to prove she was dumped and did not just get off the truck angry over some innocuous comment. Most of the time these kinds of cases rarely reach court. I have been in a few sessions with Attorneys trying to see if we have a case. Without a smoking gun about all you are going to get is an ambulance chaser who will surrender at the first sight of a few bucks. To win such a case you are going to need recordings and/or affidavit's from other women that this person has sexually harassed. You try going after a carrier with no real evidence other than she said he said you had better be prepared to see other women stating that driver was nothing but a gentleman with them along with character witnesses claiming this guy can walk on water!. THIS has happened before. I am not trying to be difficult. I am also NOT an attorney, but I have been part of lawsuits and it is not easy navigating through tort reform as well as getting an attorney to risk upwards of hundreds of hours on a crapshoot. I have sat in a courtroom and watch the case I was a part of fall apart after a Judge granted a pre-trial motion dismissing the case for lack of evidence!

I understand that. I wouldn't train a deaf mute eunuch who was a relative and long time friend. Just because. Humans. Ugh.

I trained females back when I was a trainer. Never had a problem, and honestly they were some of my best trainees. Like someone else said, they just wanted to learn.

I drove for CRST for 3 months I got my CDL through their school. I can say from first hand experience trainees are dropped off/ abandoned at truck stops occasionally. When I was still on my trainer’s truck we were in Chicago and his dm called saying they had an emergency and needed a favor and would pay us extra money if we did it. The favor was a woman trainee was left at a love’s and needed to be picked up and brought to a terminal so for half the day it was 3 of us in the truck. I don’t think this happens often usually trainers will drop trainees at terminals or motels CRST tells them to take them to.

Let's be careful here. First, if you picked the person up that means the company was involved and they got the situation fixed. The thing is to try to avoid placing blame in regard to this matter. Getting dumped at a truck stop and getting out angry is not the same. You picked the lady up and got her secure to a terminal. This does not mean she was just dumped. I learned a long time ago to carefully listen to both sides before making a judgment call!
