I've been in this place many times in the past as I used to run Pittsburgh to NH weekly. What a dump it was. Trucks would be lined up out to the road waiting to fuel, and trucks that just wanted to park couldn't get past the fuel line. I stayed away from this place at all costs until I had to bite the bullet and fuel there last week. What a difference!! They totally redesigned the lot and put a whole new building up. Walking inside it's far different from any other Pilot I've been in, but it's very nice. They need to do this to all of their NE locations...

I've avoided that stinkhole for years, for the same reasons you did . Thanks for the heads up I'll look forward to giving it another chance.

problems from the start. I heard they tore down the big, beautiful restaurant and C-store building and now it's just the fuel island and little
store there. So sad. -

I always wondered why they never utilized that gorgeous large building. Probably because it didn't fit their corporate image. They should have opened the building as a Denny's and made it a Flying J. Now it will be just another large pilot. Finally got to upload a new avatar of our Ram and 5th wheel that we enjoy for summer Rving.
bthomann Thanks this. -
Back in the 90s, they had a decent restaurant, and also had a pizza place and an ice cream shop. Parking was easy in and out. It was a really nice place to stop. The TA back across the Conn line hadn't been built yet and the only other stop was at the next exit, US20, although that one had a bar next door that had good dinner specials.

extremely bland and boxy-looking. Maybe if they used some cool designs and made each location
unique, people would tolerate their presence more. Look at each TA. The fact that the locations are
a hodgepodge of old Union 76's, Boron/Sohio, Burns Brothers, Travel Ports, and Rip Griffins in
addition to TA's few self-built locations makes each location sort of special. Even the old Flying J's
had some cool things about them. Not so with Pilot!Flat Earth Trucker Thanks this. -
Is Massachusetts law still requiring that only one fuel tank be filled at one time and not simultaneously like NORMAL?
