Racism in truck stops 2021

Hey! Why all the hatred for the color white? Its a legitimate color just like all the rest...

 

I would argue that her looks and attitude to be FAR more overt and disdainful because she thought you were a lady of the night than due to your skin color. Like i said, theres the occasional overt racist here and there, but they dont generally work in service industries they always would have to come in contact with other races with. The visceral disgust you felt is however still socially acceptable most places towards ladies of the night. And x10 for being in utah

Get over it, So you live in a less than perfect world, move on. I have not been hired because of age, I just move on. There shower there choice as to who uses it. And frankly most of us are tired of the race card crap.

 

Sometimes if you look hard enough for something, you end up finding it.

Everybody gets into some sort of rude situation eventually. Just move on.

 

Typically, In truckstops I expect to find the scum of the earth in general, and seldom disappointed. I do not find your situation hard to believe. Here in CA we've been sending our racist jerks to Utah and Idaho for years, so I would expect it from them, Vote with your money, when mistreated somewhere no matter what it is don't do business with them. Will it make a difference, maybe not but they won't be living off your money.

 

Quick Question: What is a POC?

 

Get over your color. I have been denied jobs, renting, kicked out of business. Sometimes it is your attitude, the way you look,the language you use, not everyone wants to here the f bomb. POC are just as guilty of racism as everyone else.

 

I thought calling blacks colored people was decided to be racist. Kind of surprised if your really black you call yourself colored. When I was a kid we said colored people but I haven't heard that used in ages.
