+1 for that. I have a 17 inch Blackstone griddle that's the perfect size for the truck. I used it a lot because of its very large cooking surface. You can get a bag hold it and it's folds up nice and small The griddle turns upside down on top of the rest of the stove. The only issue is that it runs on one pound propane cylinders which are kind of iffy to carry. I haven't used it since the winter came and mostly now just use my induction cooktop on the catwalk with an extension cable.

BTW, Briquettes work better than lump on these. Too hard to get the lump lit. I used my backpacking stove before I went to Briquettes. 20210709_210616.jpg

I bought a 17 inch Blackstone griddle yesterday for the truck. Going to run it for a month or 2 and see how convenient and easy it is versus cooking INSIDE the truck with the inverter.

I set it up last night and did its initial seasoning. Went well but took a bit longer as it was cold and windy at the Petro Raphine. Made some eggs and bacon and toasted an English muffin. Tasted good! Griddle needs more seasoning to add character but that takes time. Paid $88 at the Walmart in Abingdon VA. 20211205_203429.jpg 20211205_155248.jpg 20211205_210124.jpg

I'm surprised I haven't seen more people cooking like this. I use a Hot Logic to make most of my meals but miss my grill when I'm away from home.
