In Ohio? What part or scale house were you at?
I pick up alot in Otay Mesa California, rio rico Arizona ....mostly produce but I mean the trucks they let into the USA from Mexico should be red tagged ....you wouldn't get a 2nd glance next to these trucks....

Had just the opposite happen in California last month at the Dunsmuir scales. Got pulled in for my first inspection in almost 2 years. Nice guy around 70, asked only for my license and registration, nothing else. He was laughing at his co-worker yelling at a non-English speaking driver in the next booth to me. Ran my license, checked my turn signals, and handed me paperwork for a completed Level 1 inspection and put a sticker on my windshield without having really done an inspection. Told me to have a nice day and sent me on my way. I was in shock, but happy.

That's been my experience too. Those new guys always feel the need to prove themselves. Not always tho our small town has a cop younger than me who's real laid back. Coming back Bob tailing one night my rear lights were out and got out lit up. Young gun just told me put my 4 ways on let me be on my wayTrucker61016, Rideandrepair, bentstrider83 and 5 others Thank this.

Yeah just passing thru the odds of getting stopped are not much. I have never had problems with the ones on i90 except in laurel. But the guys that work the backroads are always fishing for somethingTrucker61016, Rideandrepair, NavigatorWife and 1 other person Thank this.
