What if it Snows?

They didnt teach me this in swift driving school.

 

After a couple weeks of road raging against campers driving 35 mph in a 70 on the 2 lanes holding u up and missing your friday afternoon delivery by the exact minutes those dumb dumbs held u up, so now your entire next week is f'd up, which ####s up the next week as well. You will be looking out the drivers window at a nice family with a nice car driving to their nice house and saying I cant wait to get out....

Then once u get out and get that nice family and nice house and nice car . im sure you will one day be staring at a nice looking rig and say i cant wait to get back out there again.... I think this is the natural evolution of a truck driver.

Was I a jerk again this weekend?
Here’s what happened,

I got unloaded Friday, not even looking for a load until Monday, but these two guys, that have been hauling for the same guy and trying to get ahead of me all last week, even burning me by stopping up the elevator leg, and leaving choked up without telling anyone to unstop it. 2.5 hours of my time wasted.
So one of them called me Friday afternoon wanting to know when I was leaving out.
I said Saturday morning, I would just ease on across and stop and eat and just make a weekend out of it in Kansas City, take my time getting there,would be a nice relaxing drive.
So they left out Friday afternoon to beat me, and have been there waiting since late Friday night.
I’m not even going to KC, as I didn’t call looking for a load.
Now they’ve both called and I told them my load was canceled.
Was I wrong in my payback?

It’s fun to sit in a truck in Kansas City all weekend if your first right?

 

They only called to uk you. Plus they cost you 2.5 hours of time and if it was intentional, they need to be checked. But why did they go there, if they didn't have a load?

 

They had a load, I told them I had a load going there, but didn’t, there is usually 4-5 loads every weekend going to KC, so they wanted to beat me there and be first, but once they are first and you run the same route, they always drag their feet so they arrive just before you, and you gotta wait for them to unload.

they only took the load to get ahead anyway, it was bran, I don’t haul bran.
And them screwing with people is intentional, they do it all the time to people, I’ve been warned so I knew how to play games too.

 

I wouldn't care. Maybe next time they won't uk you.

 

No, being a jerk would be finding them parked and cutting their valve stems.

 

Note.

I went to make me a Red Baron pepperoni pizza like every weekend.
Wasn’t one.
The ole lady bought Tony’s cause they were on sale.
I told her they were on sale, cause no one liked Tony’s, as he can’t fix a pizza like the Baron.
So...
I had to eat a nasty pizza to keep feelings from being hurt.
So that was my punishment.

 

I won’t mess with anyone’s equipment, and I really didn’t do anything to them there, they could’ve left this afternoon and been to Kansas City, but they wanted to be me, so they did, I just bowed out of the race and took a weekend off

 

Sometimes you have to be a jerk. I prefer being a #######. Letting them know I politely screwed them over. Nothings more fun to me than playing dumb, right up to the end. Letting them show their colors. Then surprise!! Better when face to face. Nothing beats the blank stare, and usual silence.
