Do you know what the net for that week on that post that I quoted Dave in? Is it the 3k, 1k, 5k, 9k or 8k there's 5 different numbers on the "net" column but I can't tell which one is his net take home?

It’s the $9k. But that isn’t what he takes home. He’s got to cover all his expenses too. Fuel, tires, maintenance, insurance, etc.

Obviously you have many expenses running your own business but I'm sure that's still good money when it's all said and done. I remember the OtterWater poster on here saying you paid him good in a post or two a while back. Good to see you actually spreading the wealth around instead of shafting your drivers. The trucking industry needs more people like that.

I only care about take home /net pay even though everyone's taxes/insurance/deductions are different.

My particular situation the highest I've netted in a week was the 2nd week with my current company , I netted 1300 something in a week after driving about 2900 miles . Ive been netting between 800-1300 so far, I haven't had the chance to really max out my miles because alot of the loads I've done so far have been shorter or medium length so I'm stopping multiple times a day for delivery/pickup/sometimes trailer hunting .

Keep in mind I've only been driving for a little over a year . My first company my highest take home pay was 700 something but I got a bonus one week worth 900 something after taxes and also got a paycheck that week (can't remember what it was).

I made 5700$ in 7 days driving a sandman in Washington pa. Now given that was my record at 27% of net 1200$ a load blowing in to silo 64 miles turnover to load and offload I averaged 3000$ a week. Yep people were getting rich up there, but that was when the fracing industry was planning on exporting to northwestern Europe to take putins oil buisness out from under him. It had increased the industry pay by almost 400% but Obama shut us down because he didn't want a war with Russia. Yes I driving a an Oo 2nd truck made 180k my first year 220k my second but was out of work the 3rd year. Just Google it man he's not bsing you.

My best paycheck was a 100,000.00$. contraction. Took 10 minutes. Didn't break any laws. Just skated close to the line. No money in Transportation but there is money in a Truck.
