Two dead in head on crash

    The crash occurred around 8 a.m. on I-10 near the Duson exit at mile marker 92.

    Local outlet KTDY reports that a westbound semi truck crossed into the median and into eastbound traffic, hitting a second semi with a livestock trailer head on.

    Two people were killed in the crash and five others were reported injured.

    Anytime I have seen a vehicle out of control crossing the median on a busy highway it's horrific.

    That poor driver. I hope he didn't fall asleep because he was trying to get home or keep from violating his logs. That poor poor Trucker. This is bad news for us. Everytime this occurs. I like 2500 miles a week myself, but then again, I am not 30, 40, or even 55 anymore. I don't have all those BILLS, children at home anymore. God Bless the families.
