My best so far, in a 65mph truck, is 657 miles. Nothing special, But, so far it is the most I've done in a regular,14 hour shift. I did do about 780 miles one day. But, that was because I had my 10 hour in the middle and the milage was an accumulation from 2 different 14 hour shifts that were within the same day.
The longest drive

Three I can think of Logan UT to Ontario CA drove right through non - stop not sure how I managed the paper work on that trip, 733 miles. Second was from Logan UT - Modesto CA 755 miles missed my time slot by 1 hour and was made to wait two days before they unloaded me, the third was from Logan UT to Carthage MO 1200 miles .and the last hot load I did for the company as it was not worth the trouble anymore.JoeyJunk and Flat Earth Trucker Thank this.

Lot of 700+ legal days. First time I ever drove a truck that was governed was when I signed on with Quality Carriers at the end of 2009. Farthest in one stretch was from the Flying J in Ogden, Ut to the Sapp Bros in Council Bluffs. Was right at 930 miles. And was for no reason in particular. Just felt like driving. Slept late the next day to let the log book catch up to me.

In the old days, Federal Way Washington to the TA in Fort Bridger Wyoming, 930 miles. It was a beautiful day and night so I kept on going. In the modern era I’ve done 727 on my elog from Sabetha Kansas to Bryan Texas. Most days of full driving are 600-650 miles. Fridays are my easy day as I’m always within a few hundred miles of home at the most.

I've done 715 or so legal a few times, on ELD but in my ungoverned truck. This was on i90 to/from Seattle I'm sure. I've done that run lots.
Twice lately I've crossed the country in a personal and done right at 1000. I know that's no huge feat in a personal vehicle but you can't argue that it isn't a long arse day.JoeyJunk, Dennixx, Flat Earth Trucker and 1 other person Thank this. -
Longest trip was in 1990 or 91.
Band gear from Los Angeles to Halifax Nova Scotia in 5 days.

I've driven my own vehicle the longest from Turlock, California to Tucson, Arizona stopping only for fuel. That wore me out.

Back when I was a wee lad I drove my 68 Oldsmobile from Reno to Minneapolis without shutting it off. Started in the bay but the headers overheated the starter so just fueled it running after that and drove straight thru.CorsairFanboy, JoeyJunk, 86scotty and 1 other person Thank this.
