It’s Fed Wrecks line haul, so 64.7 with all safety lane system and that annoying rumble sound if you get close to the fog line.

Pretty much impossible to find a good driver and especially one with all endorsements. Nothing new but definitely worse then it’s ever been. Doesn’t matter how much you pay. It’s either too low or deemed to be bs because there are so many bait and switches out there.
Another Canadian driver, shooter19802003, p608 and 2 others Thank this. -

44 cpm ain't bad if you travel all 48 and have the freight to stay busy. OTR companies fluctuate between 45 and 55 cpm on average. As far as how to get drivers, I don't know that there's a proper answer. Each driver has different needs. If you have an applicant with a mindframe like mine, he/she will be concerned solely with the abundance of freight and lanes and miles. I believe if a company has good customers or the great relationships with brokers, or both, it's a recipe to get everything I need in that dept. I'm also concerned with equipment. I've worked at companies where equipment is old and needed to be swapped out. If I go to a dry van company for instance, I don't want to go to a place to pick up roll stock, and the trailer can't get loaded because of age. I like for my income to stay in rhythm.Another Canadian driver and Lumper Humper Thank this.
