No!
1. it doesn’t weigh 90lbs
2. Unlike Melton’s tarps, it actually has a purpose.
Melton has a drop and hook customer 5 minutes from my house.
Their preloaded trailers will sit there for 3 days sometimes (UNCOVERED) in the rain, sleet or snow waiting to be picked up. Then, I’ll see one of their drivers picking up and the poor bastige will be out there tarping that trailer rain or shine. That’s a bunch of b.s. -

Nothing says you’re not getting hired anywhere like abandoning the equipment even after giving a notice or even worse abandoning the equipment under Load. You had to of done something pretty bad and it’s on your DAC.

Were you in the boat division to Canada? I think his dispatcher was different from him that's why he's having bad reviews on closed doors. Some dispatchers are like that. They r not that so friendly

i wouldn't worry about it. It's just a mega. if they don't have anything on you re company policy and you turned the truck in without incident, who cares what they say. these office types get their panties in a bunch when u try and take away any modicum of control. most of em are working from home now anyway so they've become accustomed to not wanting to be bothered.....just my exp from the group i worked with for a while.
i left a tanker mega after getting into it (over the course of my tenure) with the company safety director, trainers, my dm, both dispatchers i had, multiple service mgrs......they hated me, but i got the job done....was curious why they never canned me except that i guess too many were getting let go because they couldnt do the job in the first place. when i was finished, done, ready to move on i just dropped off the truck on my go home day, which was a friday when everyone in the office was gone, typed out a quick resignation on my pad and sent it to the after hours dispatch wastes of oxygen, sent same message via email to dispatcher (got his email address the week before undenounced to him lol ) cause I wanted a precise way to verify my departure, cleaned out the truck, took detailed videos n pics of everything, went to drop off pad n keys to service guy on duty and recorded our convo re if he wanted to go look at the truck etc...etc... and i hauled ### home. literally a week didn't go by before i got a call from their rehire people wanting to let me know I was good to come back. i told her to send it to me in an email and she did further verifying my clean break.
don't make it complicated. don't give them a chance to jack with you in any way shape or form. but always have a backup plan fo sho (ie zero balance credit card with enough $$ to get u home).
