OOIDA has a program.

 

You want to be signed up with a good, reliable drug testing company. They’re not all the same. Some will neglect to contact you when your name is called at random. When that happens, you’re basically screwed because the next call you get is from the FMCSA to inform you that your MC has been deactivated. Had it happen to a guy I was working with. He chose his own consortium, a well known one and after they accepted his money they didn’t do their job. He went through hell because they failed to notify him. Took him 6 months to straighten it all out and by that time he went BK because he couldn’t run his truck.

The one that we’ve found to be the most reliable is Mobile Occupational Services (MOS) Mobile Occupational Services, Inc. | Mobile Occupational Services, Inc. When they call you, they’ll ask you where you are and they will find you a place close by to go take your random test at. They keep you up to date on changes and what not. And when you decide you want to grow your company, they’ll certify you so that you meet state and federal requirements with regards to having employees.

 

I know this is an old post, but wow very informative. I never knew that no phone/contact from them could cost us our business.

Anyone familiar with Progressive Reporting Agency? I’m looking at them and Mobile Occupational Services. Just curious if anyone has any experience with either and whether or not you were satisfied with their service. Thanks in advance for any and all help!

 

Who did you end up choosing?

 

I went with Mobile Occupational Services. So far they seem to be on the ball and make things quite easy on me. Just received my first random selection too. Form was clear and easy to print as a pdf which they emailed to me.
