Another legend gone. Absolutely loved Velcro Fly and Stages back when I was a kid.

ZZ Top was just a great band. No BS, no politics just excellent music.

And Tube Snake Boogie, Pearl Necklace. If you knew what they were really singing about, those songs would have never been played by over the air waves.

Certainly a tremendous band that in my opinion, doesn’t get the respect they deserve. The “rockumentary” on Netflix, That Little Ol Band From Texas, is a great movie on their lives.
One of my favorite ZZ Top songs, don’t have a true favorite, too many good ones:)

Excellent show on Netflix. I like behind the scenes anything. After all these years, they still sounded the same, timeless!

    Linte_Loco Thanks this.

I loved that interview they did in Sweden I think. Interviewer was trying to get political and Billy just said "I'm not in to this" and walked away. Probably why I love ZZ Top, it was only ever about the music with them. 50-odd years, 1 lineup. No fighting for the spotlight. Just Tres Hombres having fun.
