A new Arkansas law is cracking down on vehicles impeding the left-hand lane. Act 1090 says a vehicle shall not be driven upon the left lane of a multilane highway, with a few exceptions. The previous law stated that vehicles could not stay in the left lane of a multilane highway whenever it impedes traffic flow.

How is this going to work for the 66 mph truck passing the 65mph truck? And who is to decide how rough the road must be before it is considered in "dis-repair"?

AL was going to start monitoring left lane users. I always thought this was common anyway, you pass, then get over. I learned this when I was 16, many years ago.

I use left lane from time to time when its significantly has beter pavement and less potholes than right lane ...we pay highway use tax ...but i always thinking which story i will be telling the cop if pulled over ...part of 65 in KY is extremely horrible to use right lane
